PPANJ 2009 Annual Convention

I just returned from the PPANJ Annual convention in Atlantic City. As usual the speakers were very good, as was the networking and fellowship. Curt Littlecott, our speaker on weddings, spoke about the advantages of using a video light to get some really edgy photos. This is the 2nd photographer I heard that used a video light. The second being Dan Doke at Evermay held this past September. After hearing Dan, I gave it a try at one of my weddings and liked the out come. When possible, I have been trying to incorporate the use of a video light in my weddings. Not for all images, but it is great for getting some different style images as part of the overall wedding images.

I am looking forward now, to M.A.R.S (Mid-Atlantic Regional School). Which will be held May 3rd thru the 8th at the Grand Hotel in Cape May, NJ. They always have a great slate of instructors to choose from. This year I will be the assistant instructor for Suzette Allen & Jon Yoshinaga who will be teaching an intermediate to advanced Photoshop class.
